Wouldn't all of us be selling this coin now at these prices if you had one.
If all of us would sell, who would they be selling to?

I see others showing up on E-Bay.The interesting thing they are 66s and 65s only.Is ICCS getting stricter with there grading? Another thing is all coins have been cut from sets and no set intact!! I'm thinking the set might be on the endangered list.If you were to sell just a cut out coin un graded, why not leave it in the set and attract the set collectors too, that's marketing strategy.

I think you need it graded for the broader market place to give it assurance of it's variety, even though it's easy to prove with a photo and magnet. The more important question is how many more are coming out of the wood work with the recent two amazing auction sale price.

I am guessing that about 7 or 8 are known to date.

An MS66 just sold 5 minutes ago at auction for $2750 + fees. Have no idea what the bidders were thinking paying $22,000 and $18,000. Crazy!

I hear its 100. All hear say I guess. I dont know why anyone in their right mind would announce that they have 50 75 or 100 especially if these coins were selling for $3000 to $20,000 per coin. Hold on a second...if someone wanted to drive the price down then that would explain it. This makes absolutely no sense at all.

Remember the Hamilton dealer who did a feature on the 2006 penny on CCN, literally turned that coin into a 200.00 overnight. if I had a hoard of these pennies grade 1 to 3 of the best and destroy the rest.

Kind of amazing at sale yesterday, I guess the buyer of these two coin don't read this forum, so there is still hope for decent prices on this penny.
