The regular green CAC sticker denotes a coin that's solid for the grade, an "A" or "B" coin in John Albanese's parlance. A coin properly graded according to his standards when he first helped found both PCGS and NGC. Gold CAC stickers are for the special ones, considered either at the very top of the grade or undergraded. These coins would almost certainly upgrade if resubmitted, and generally trade at the price of the next higher grade level to what's on the slab.

Yeah, that's a gold bean at 64 all right.

Wowser. PCGS disrespected this coin in a big way.

I was going to guess PCGS MS64 with a gold beanie ... but you beat me to it.

It's not that unusual to find PCGS rattler coins undergraded according to today's gradeflation standards ...

This lovely MS64 Oregon Trail might go MS66 if cracked out and re-submitted today.

Lovely coin indeed Johnny

I'm not surprised at MS64 in that holder. Yeah, they were tough on it!
