Years ago I subscribed to Numismatic News. From time to time I would buy a copy of COINage. However, now the CCF provides answers my questions and members will provide interesting links. At least one dealer, Jack Beymer, is still around. On the Barber coins he would split grades long before the wisdom of this practice was recognized. For those collectors who do not know just yet what coins to collect, either of these two periodicals is perfect for helping.

I currently have a subscription to Numismatic News. I usually read it as soon as I get it. I had a Bank Note Reporter subscription which I let run out in 2009. I was somewhat into currency at the time, but not enough to renew my subscription. I like those special edition Coin World magazines. In the past I've read Coins, The Numismatist and Coin World. -MV

I currently have a subscription for the print version of The Numismatist through my ANA membership, it is one of the more scholarly magazines on the market. I had a subscription to Numismatic News for about six years but I started getting too far behind in my reading and it seemed to be more ads and less articles as time went by so I dropped it. I subscribed to Coin World for three years as a kid in the 1980s, I wish I still had some of those old issues.

NONE. I keep away from amy mail that may end up sticking out of the mail box. Gun, knife, coin, etc. magazines sticking out of a mail box is must advertising to the wrong people. Also, not everyone that works for the US mail is above pure honesty. I'd prefer to keep anything I have of monitary value sort of to myself.

I enjoy the Numismatist through my ANA membership. Also, had a subscription to the Celator for ancient coins, before they closed down operations a few years ago. Another good magazine for world and European coins is Coin News out of England. I'm able to locate a few copies of the later every now and then at coin shows.
