Yesterday I reported every single US coin he has listed under that name, and put a sidenote and it saying that every coin listed is fake, that the seller has scammed people out of a ton of money and that he uses different names and needs to be banned under all of them.

It's absolutely horrible that people get away with stuff like this. Unsuspecting, newbie collectors are buying these coins thinking they're getting a great deal and have no idea that they're building a collection of fakes... Uugh.... Drives me nuts! We need a smily for beating up horrible sellers.. kind of like this one lol

Gidjit- you're absolutely right, there's absolutely no way that he has all of these coins and doesn't know anything at all about coins. He darn well knows their fake and is trying to get over on unsuspecting people..

It appears that all the US coins have been taken down... And more put up! I reported all those as well. The ops linked coin is still up though, reported that too. But anyways, Good job everyone. Now he needs to be banned...under all names and never let back (ya I know it's impossible..) I'm tempted Adam to my favorite sellers (with a special side it's to myself ), all of his names, just so every single time he posts a coin I can immediately report it.

I reported the American coins.

1877 20 cent was proof only
1796 quarter is a rare coin worth several thousand dollars
1889 3 cent nickel just doesn't look right
1812 Bust half
1908 D Barber half

The last two I couldn't tell but if the other 3 are fake those most likely are too.

Here is the response from the seller when I pointed out the coins.

"Hello,
I do not know much about coins, estimation values leave bidders.
2 rules:
1.how much are bidding for so much buying
2.you're not sure - do not bid
Regards"

Is there any way that the unfortunate buyers can get their money back? Would the Bay or the Pal cover their purchase or are they out of luck (and money!)?

sorry but I had to tell this guy he was a thief and should have the police called on him, this was his reply:

"Firstly, it does not scare me please.
Secondly, it does not seem to me to make you something bought from me.
Thirdly, my auctions were consistent with the rules of procedure of ebay and it was all written clearly and distinctly."

some how I dont think it is ebay's procedure you willingly sell counterfeit coins

Asyn is a well discussed seller on this site in other strings. He sells a very large volume of material (generally at a $0.99 start price with free shipping) and he typically very very generously grades his coins. He doesn't have a reputation for dealing in fake material as far as I know.
