First rule of collecting: Collect what you like\ like what you collect. IF you like what you are collecting then you have no "crappy" coins.

Possible clashed step inside the mouth? I guess I need to make an overlay for the 2001-2003 cents. The devices are slightly different those years on the obverse.

I would wait for a coin that is worth over $100 to submit. I've seen current BU coins that were graded. What a waste. The grading fees are way more than a coin is worth is impossible to get your fees back when you sell them. Save it till you get a coin worth to be graded. You will be happy then that you did wait. If I buy a slabbed coin, I only pay what it is as a raw coin. The seller looses on the fees if I buy it.
