Did you find or buy this piece? If you bought it, where did it come from? The more I look at this piece the more I feel it's a recent fakes from Eastern Europe.

I took a look at this sellers coins, while there are a few that appear to be OK. Most IMO look fake.

Lets put it this way, one or two of the late Roman coins looked OK. The medieval coins I don't know a lot about but from what I saw I have doubts that many if any of them are real.

Understand! :) Medieval coins of this seller is looked OK! After I paid, I asked the seller, and He said 100 % this coin is contemporary! :) But of course if it is a fake and He knows that, maybe He won't tell the truth!
I tried to catch this coin on fake reports, but I not found it. This is a very characteristic coin, I think if it is a fake, similar item must turn up soon!
The price was around 28 $ so it wasn't that expensive!
I hope when I will have the coin in my hand, we can decide! :)

The upper is from http://www.numismall.com "Rare barbarous VOT XX follis imitation of Constantine I (307-337 AD)" Not exactly the same, but very similar! What do you think?

I've done business with Alex in the past and trust what he has to sell. The coins do look similar but I still am not comfortable to say that yours is a legit. I've been wrong many times in the past so don't take my word for it, lets see what others have to say.

The two coins are similar, but not from the same die. Notice the position of the ribbon on Constantine's neck. The T in "V T" also is different on the two coins.
Are the leters S in Constantine's name backwards on your coin as they are on the other example?
I think both are nice imitatives.

Paul, you wrote you collect imitatives, can you show me some of yours? Because I like them! (And sorry for my bad grammar!)

I believe both of these coins to be ancient. I have no reason to believe otherwise.

Now that I see better pictures of the coin, I have to change my first impression. I agree the coin is not a recent copy.
