GregAlex Pillar of the Community United States 838 Posts	Posted 02/14/2026 5:04 pm I found two nice checks at the FUN coin show in Orlando last month. The first is actually a promissory note. The building in the upper left is the New York Merchants Exchange, built in 1841. It still exists on Wall Street, though it's been greatly modified. The Sisson & Chapman check includes a portrait of singer Jenny Lind. She was quite famous in her day and was nicknamed the Swedish Nightengale. Report this Post to the Staff
