Quote: BH1964, "Lust" was a typo, thanks for pointing it out. Was also up all night! Are you sure it wasn't a freudian slip? jk. This is a tough one to grade, because the pics are done in a way that would hide any obvious cleaning. The overall lightness in color makes me think a cleaning is possible. Either way, it has AU-55 details in my opinion, and is a nice coin.

AU53 with a good chance of a details grade for a possible cleaning.

My guess is AU55 and another guess is the images are scans that mute the luster.

I'm new at this, but I'm gonna say AU-58. I can't tell about any cleaning

OK.....This one killed me! They graded it at AU details, cleaning!!! I was shocked! This coin was wrapped in light tissue paper and sat in a ring box untouched for the last 40+ years! I considered breaking it out and sending to NGC.....

I had been wondering what happened to you. I didn';t realize you were submitting it and waiting! Thats a bummer. I though It would get a better grade like au58 or Uncirculated details if cleaned... not AU details. :(
How long did the turnaround time take including shipping? I just send some thing out to them.

They were already graded when I originaly posted this, I have just been busy. It took like 34 days total with shipping included, but I had vouchers so maybe they took longer.

that is a bummer. It definitely has upper AU details....but like I said earlier, hard to tell if it was cleaned from those pics. I have seen many of these in cleaned slabs that looked pretty decent to me, so don't be too discouraged...at least it is genuine, and that speaks a lot since there are so many counterfeits of these out there.
