This is indeed in a regular "Silver Dollar" holder, not an "Uncirculated Silver Dollar" holder.   |

I think the marks on the cheek limit this one to an MS-63. I do like the toning though.

It's a nice looking coin and the toning is pretty nice too. Looks MS to me, I agree with 63, but not being in an "Uncirculated Silver Dollar" holder worries me. Whatever the real grade is, whether MS-63 or AU-58, I'd pay 10%-15% above retail (Retail, not list prices, I'd pay that much over what they usually bring on ebay). |

There are no AU coins in the hard cases, the AU GSA coins and other mixed dates went into the soft packs and envelopes, that look like this;  |

I see it at maybe MS-63. That reverse toning sure is nice. What a WOW coin this would be had it been on the obverse. I'm sure there's a decent premium for a GSA holdered coin like this.

MS63+ The plus for the reverse toning, pricing? I'd say it's worth $275-$345 range. Maybe a bit more if the right tone collector came along. I'd slab it in the holder via NGC/ANACS and see what happens - not uncommon but pretty enough to draw some good interest in an auction.

MS-63, it's hard to say what the value is for a toned coin, but I would guess this one's worth $325-$375.

I agree with MS-63 and likely a * if sent to NGC. Feels familiar for some reason but I might be just thinking of another coin that similar toning on the reverse.

I hope this doesn't feel "familiar" cause I just bought it off ebay. Price to me was about $310 and I'm a touch worried I may have overpaid. I put a nuke bid in and wasn't expecting it to get over $275 given the time of day and the actual day it was ending. |
