The 58 Roosie is worth $1.47 and the Canadian is worth $0.76, so you need to $22.77 worth in the rest of the coins, quite possible in a kilo bag. Hope you find more silver! |

I think that is some sort of commemorative medal of [Patrice] Lumumba and [Joseph] Kasa Vubu, and Mobutu Sese Seko.
No idea any relation of them really, just my reading of wikipedia on the Sese Seko person.

I presume that this piece is not a coin, but instead is a commemorative madal; there is no mark of denomination on it, indicating that it is a coin.
The Congo (also known as Zaire), was originally ex Belgian colony, known as the Belgian Congo. There was a move for independence in the 1960's, and a period of serious political and social upheaval that included the copper rich beakaway province in the south known as Katanga.
Copper Katanga money crosses are part of the numismatic history of this region.
Some of the leading political figures in the move to independence included Patrice Lumbumba and Kasavubu; I forget the second guy's first name.
All that I have written here is from memory, and some of the facts presented here must stand for correction.
A more accurate and detailed account of the history of this region and history should be easily found with a simple 'Net search.

Looks like you've got some other Korean coins in there as well. Good to see them  The second to the right one on the top row is a KM#35 100 Won (1970-1982). The one to the left of the third row is a KM#34 50 Won (1983-). The third to the right one on the third row is a KM#6 10 Won (1966-1982). The one on the right of the third row is a KM#9 100 Won (1970-1982). I could inform you with their rarity if you can tell me their dates |

thank you guys for all responses,and about Korean coins,i got 50 won-2000 and 1983,100 won -1974 and 1997,500 won-1982 and 1994 ,10 won 1979 and 1980
