I saw the shipping and forgot to mention it. $40 to ship a roll. At least the coins are such a good deal that the shipping doesn't really matter!! lol

Farewell to the penny stuff has dropped off now, the 5 penny silver sets were going over 400 easily and now I can't get 350 for one. Maybe it's the summer blues but market seems down for these now. Maybe selling them individually is better.

The RCM made so many varieties that I'm surprised the 2012 penny stuff has held its value this long. They really over-saturated the market, in my humble opinion.

I would think MAYBE the first roll would sell at a premium, but I've never heard of a limited edition anything selling for more for the last one. Also, it's just packaging. They grabbed the pennies at random. It's very much like the early release coins people pay premiums for; an artificial market based on the idea that they are early, but they aren't tracked and they also are kind of grabbed from the pool at random. I mean, these pennies are guaranteed to be a "mix" of either all steel, all zinc, or a combination of both, which is insane to me. But, value is in the eyes of the beholder, so even if I wouldn't ever think of paying it, that doesn't mean someone else needs it to complete their life. I am a both a bit amused and dismayed at the artificial markets created to creatively add value to certain items where the differences seem to me to be distinctions without differences.

Wow. If you could get that much profit, why wouldn't you ship for free?

I also have a roll of 50 2012 Lincoln pennies, with a mix of mint marks and some being in good condition to proof-like. These is a special roll, with a Star Wars action figure hologram glued on, that is extremely rare being that only about 6 billion of these pennies were minted. That means that not everyone on the planet can own one, being about a billion short. I grade these myself with a flip stapler out of the trunk of my car, so you can be guaranteed you are getting real value. Note, since this a roll, the grading is written on a stapled, brown paper bag. Who wants to start the bidding?

If there's no bids yet, I'm in at 10 cents. But shipping better be free.
