Of course it's fake; even the Seller knows it's fake. The guy that doesn't know is the idiot that ends up with it when it's all over and done with.

I gotta go try and refocus my eyes!

Could you ask the seller to photograph it again, this time VERY sharply focused?
Or, would that be asking too much?
Or, is he asking me too much to trust him?

Perhaps he has been DRINKING the metal polish as well as using on fake coins.

Might be a proof coin. Or a coin the Mint made using Chrome metal as a test.

Yeah, Carl. If the bids weren't so high, I'd get a few for my car bumpers ... reflectors.

Wow, that's one heck of a shiny silver dollar!
Anyone aware of a 1893-S branch mint proof?

This "branch mint proof" was plucked off a tree in China, methinks.

I always buy my proof branch mint Morgans ungraded with blurry pictures from a seller with no feedback off of ebay. Doesn't everyone?

I think it is more likely one of those 100 mil silver plated "Tribute Proofs".

And he does know it's fake. He says the shininess of the coin makes it impossible to see the bottom of the coin in the first picture of the reverse, but you can tell it has been deliberately blurred out not missing from glare. Then he posts a second reverse picture wihich is obviously a different coin. No shiny proof surfaces at all.
