FR-2 While there is a bit of corrosion, I think at they considered it allowable at this grade.
Don't see these too often. Very nice!

FR2 details/corroded. Nice pickup! Tom Reynolds is well respected when it comes to early copper.

I fully agree!

I met Tom Reynolds at a Summer Fun Show I attended in 2013.
Suffice to say I have never seen so many interesting and scarce and valuable (read expensive) early copper coins in one place at one time.
My wife had to pull me away from his table.

You guys are good!!

ANACS called this a Fair2. Tom Reynolds stated the reverse was an AG and the obverse was poor, net Fair.

Most of the lower grade chains in my budget that I have seen have some type of problem. While id rather have problem free surfaces,I feel the chain and legend on the reverse make up for the corrosion on the obverse.

Thanks again for your opinions and comments.

A fantastic piece of early American history, and you got confirmation from one of the most respected names in the EAC world, Tom Reynolds, can't go wrong with a beauty like this!
