Congrats Roger, well deserved! I've watched your numismatic efforts over the years, and everyone owes you a thanks...not just for the help you provide here, but for your contributions to the hobby in general.

It is good that we are all taking the time to recognize an important wise, knowledgable, and respected leader on this great form. The times I have dealt with Roger have been a pleasure and I hope to deal with again, (just not by any means him removing my forum topic...) Thanks and congratulations! I thought I noticed something different on your sidebar...

WOW I'm a little late to the party!! Congratulations on your new position. I really don't know where you find the time!! I too must say I've learned tons and have benefited from your postings. I have immense respect for your knowledge and the time you take teaching others. I look forward to your further contributions. This winter I will look up your posting I haven't read. So much archived knowledge. Commens has me thinking hard about joining the RCNA. It does look like I will be taking the step in the near future. Both you and Commens have grately influenced my growth as a collector. I started out haphazardly, however my appreciation and understanding continue to grow! I truly wish you a fullfilling and rewarding time in this new position. I have no doubts the Canadian forums will be the beneficiary.

Oh, wow, didn't notice at all. Maybe it's because I've been so inactive lately. Anyway, good luck to SPP

It is pretty small compared to the larger US associations, but the content of their journal is quite good. The best part is, you will have access to ALL the archived journals, right back to the early 1950s... a wealth of information. Several CCF members (including Zonad, bosox, and myself) all contribute to the CN Journal.
