Well if that other one was EF40 then this one is AU50 Cleaned.

Thanks all,..but if lambecolin says that it's a 55 ,..then that's what it is..



I would really like to see a larger pro pic of the gem 1858 20 cent in that earlier posting. Don't need to see the plastic holder either.

Imagine if half of this page was filled with that amazing gem 1858.....and even a peek at the obverse..

Now when we look at that SP58 grade,..we know that it wasn't kicking around in someones pocket change ...ever..

Would the 58 be caused by true "cabinet friction" ...or could it somehow be slight mishandling..?

Just wondering what the "experts here" think on this one..?

Rob feels that most 20 cent pieces were actively brought in and melted as they were then introducing the 25 cent coin "same size" ,..so high grades have always been tough..
