Typical cleaned and worn 21 Peace dollar. Probably F12-15 with details for cleaning.

I agree with the others. Worn and cleaned, but legit. If it helps, I had a Franklin half that was the same way (reeded edge appeared thinner in some places than in others). Actually I have some ASE, including my current pocket piece, which also show this.

The coin looks genuine to me, albeit cleaned.

We naturally discussed your situation among the Admins, although it was more about how to get you registered from a country we've blocked (because of the number of malicious registrations) than it was about you. It was easy to determine that you'd be a worthy member.

So where does some from Vietnam find a 1921 Peace dollar?

Thanks. I have got it from a trade with a US partner out of the forum. He was very confident about the coin. But as he said he once met a fake one before so I posted it here. And, I have heard that Chinese fakes flooded the world now so we should hunt them all the way.

I'm not seeing any immediate reasons to doubt its authenticity. Good find. :-)

An expert here :) So it's checked and slabbed I had a glance at your site to see that it might be very helpful. But I think the letters are too thin which make reading a little difficult.

Looks legit to me, I've had a couple of 1921's in the past and it compares well to them. It does look harshly cleaned, though. Welcome to CCF, btw.
