Slamnbass,
That is a different one. A nice one at that! Is this yours?

Looks a bit like 2009P-1DR-096, but still different looking:

The die chip on the "C" matches, but I'm not 100% sure on if it is this die?

The jury is still out for me on this one?

The 'king' of the extra fingers is doing very well. WDDR 006in MS67 was selling for $75 a couple of months ago, and that was the going price for years. Now Pitboss has a completed best offer at $139.

Wexler WDDR-006 is a really neat variety. I went through an entire box of FYs and only found two of these. On the other hand, about 50% of the box was other doubled dies. Yes, 50%! What a mother lode! Still another box from the same source only had two minor doubled dies in entire box!
I still have boxes and boxes of 2009 all types and mints never searched. Just don't have the time but maybe my daughter will. I purchased the boxes for her when they were cheap thinking that maybe they'd be worth something by the time she's 112!

Whitman called me one day and asked if they could use some of then images of the FYs DDs off my web site for the Professional edition of Red Book. I complied and also included an image of one of the two WDDR-006 that I found. I noticed that the WDDR-006 went in with the FS # that I assigned it. I think going in that book helped them a lot. I think all the really nice ones (about a dozen) might do well. Here is the image of one of the two #6s that I found. Bad image, I used the wrong lighting, etc., but it's clear enough. I think Whitman called this "Skeleton Finger".

all of these are just question your pictures are better than mine plus I don't have one of these great finds, if you don't mind asking these maybe silly questions but its a way of learning for me sorry.

I can see the same dark shape on front side is it?

2009-Extra-Finger

something looks odd here it seems wide?

2009-Extra-Finger

and these scratches seem to line up with the wood or log he is sitting on? and at the end of the wood is it supposed to be like that?

I am comparing all this to a new coin online

MAN I hope I don't get in trouble for this

Hard to tell from your pics. The dark spot I can't figure out. But the line above the dark spot might be something.

I just found a second one identical to the one I found yesterday. Same box of pennies. They must be traveling buddies.
