Thanks for the clarification on the attribution Ken.

so now the slab has the wrong attribution so I suspect the poll may change! Lol. At this time the poll suggests leaving it in the slab 9 votes to 7.

Keep voting please!!

I said leave it in the holder, but I want to change my vote now knowing that the holder is wrong.
The topic/poll should read - "Should I break this error coin out of this slab with incorrect attribution noted?"

Basically, whatever you choose, I don't think (and the results seem to echo this) there's any wrong answer, so go with what you feel best about.

I'm not a huge fan of breaking coins out of a graded holder, but under the circumstances I'd set that puppy free. Or you could try contacting the place that it came from and explaining the situation. They might regrade and put the proper attribution on a new holder for you. Never hurts to ask.

Well the poll ended 11 to 8 to leave it in the slab...but this isn't a democracy. It's a dictatorship so...

Nice clash too. I have the exact clash on a normal coin. Got an image around here somewhere.

I would have done the same thing. I only slab significant errors (i.e., off metals), or those where the grade would matter (MS-65 or better)...

Oh My! what a difference when free! Now you can get a full fair price for its true value---don't sell it---too beautiful.
