Keep one for your collection and turn the others loose for the rest of us poor circulation collectors.

As above. High grade specimens in folders or flips. I search for varieties too but that's it. They are fun to collect for the majority of newbies/noncollectors and for collectors as long as grades are high. With bazzillions in circulation it's hard to imagine even the higher grade coins becoming valuable. And with so many better retention/investment options I really don't see the point personally. With that said I don't want to discourage folks who enjoy saving them anyway. To each their own. Do what pleases you especially since it doesn't adversely affect others.
So, I spend the vast majority that come through my hands. Bicentennial quarters too.

I'm in line with most everyone else. I just keep one of each. I keep my eye open for upgrades to my album but then I dump the rest.

I rarely see them in change. So rare that I have to buy the circulating set from the mint just to fill my holes.

I only keep the ones I need for my album, and the Uncirculated ones.

Lucky! I guess that is the difference between your SC and my SC (Southern California and South Carolina).

I am trying to pull one of each mint out of circulation as I find it, but I haven't got an album yet, so I think some inefficiencies have entered the system in the form of duplicates. Once I get them in an album I will upgrade from circulation as the chance permits. I am just collecting for fun, not really an investment.
