Other than a couple of really minor rim dings, I can't see much in the way of bag marks anywhere else. It might make 65 Brown, although 64 Brown is more likely, I'd say.

Heavily toned woodie.
Could be a 64 but the toning may cause problems.

To me, there is evidence of wear on the obverse high spots, especially above the ear. I'll go with AU-58.

noD, Where are you getting these beautiful coins..

Great looking 1917 we have an ANACS graded 1917 MS-61BN and this one is a lot better than ours, MS-64BN

All my posted images are created using a Nikon Coolpix L16 point and shoot camera. Time for an upgrade, maybe.

These are hard to grade without seeing in hand. Is there cartwheel luster under the brown?
