I think I see a lot of luster, very few distractions, can't quite tell if it's RB...but it looks to be.

Thanks guys. Don't you wish you could see the history and storage of the coins you get? Also, I have a question about the y in Liberty. Is that a typical strike? And, coinfrog, I hear you about the obverse strike. It amazes me how many different types of strikes there are on Lincolns!

Hi,

I'll say 63 RD only because the obv. has five (5) significant dings that a conservative grader would use to hold it back.

If it had just one or two of these hits, I'd join the consensus 64 crowd though.

It's still a very nice coin either way.

IMHO

I'd go 64 with a shot at 65. Nice coin!

MS-63 red. too many marks and deep scratches. I dont think the pics bring out enough surface detail.

For those that graded this less than 65, start at 70 and explain how you deducted points to arrive at your grade.

For me:

Deep obverse hit behind ear -2
Light hit on temple -1
Spots on both sides -2
Total -5

This coin has clean, outstanding fields. I'm sure this coin is attractive in hand, I can see cartwheel spokes everywhere.
