I think I look at 'em too often. Last night I opened the safe, arranged the coins in neat order, and after inventoried them. To my shock I couldn't find one of my favorites. I looked everywhere, tore the room apart, moved the desk, searched my pockets, etc. Finally decided to look in the safe. There it was. I felt pretty foolish. I'll probably do it all over again tonight, hopefully minus the panic.

Daily. Constantly working on my lincoln collection, or going through rolls etc.. I need to stop taking coins in and out of my dansco, feel like I'm going to ruin it or something.
Im also trying to get an inventory and grades on all my coins. Once I get caught up, it will be easier to stay caught up ;)

I have about 5-7 fine tuned ebay searches that I go thru twice a day just incase there are some new BIN auctions that are needing my attention.

I keep all my change in a large container and I plan on going through it about March, when I'm really aching for spring

we all sound like a bunch of hopeless coin collectors to me. I go through my coins, search rolls, or go to work (at a coin shop) at least once a day. I was spending way to much money for a time on coins so I decided to go through penny rolls of errors, because it feeds my need for coins and costs about $.02 per hour.

I work on my Lincoln collection daily....when life permits. LOL Some days I may spend 3-4 hours on it doing various things. The biggest project was grading every coin thru 2007 and updating my Excel sheet. WHEW!

coin time is any free time that is left over - after work and the long commute and taking care of the house and the pets and the family

What with cruising the coin forums, reading coin books, looking for coins on ebay, going to coin club meetings and editing my coin club's Magazine, I don't have too much time left to actually look at coins anymore. Now that's tragic.
