Not bad for what I paid, then. I'll see what I can do with the obverse with Conserv or acetone.

I wouldn't mess with it, I think if you dip it it's going to look like a bleached out Morgan.

No dip in my house, nor any other abrasive or chemical cleaner. I use only Verdi-care (for copper) and Conserv (for non-copper) along with occasional acetone and distilled water.
They remove surface contaminants (dirt, scum, debris) but do not alter the surface chemically nor affect toning or patina.

Agree VG-08. I'd leave it alone as well.

Alright. I'll give in to peer pressure this time. :) I'll take some pics of her when she gets in.

Looks VG to me ....
Got me curious, are you doing a circulated set of Morgan's?

I got coin today and was pleasantly surprised to find that the obverse is somewhat lighter and has a beautiful metallic green iridescent band of toning running from the cap all the way down to the bust point, and also nice red iridescence with some orange, green and gold on the periphery/stars. Really not noticeable until the coin catches the light, then it pops off. Definitely leaving it 100% as found. Reverse has little or no toning.
