Nice clean examples. I'll go with VF-25 on both.

I will add a bit of information. PCGS has these coins two grades apart and one of the coins has a CAC sticker. When I look at the coins in hand, they look very close to the same grade.

I say VF30-35 range for both.

VF35 89 and VF25 93, and the 93 probably got the green bean, the 89 has some distractions.

Wow. I gotta recalibrate my head somewhat. When we look at coins like these - especially the '89 - with so much consistent dark crud lodged in the nooks and crannies, yet otherwise "clean" surfaces, we immediately assume it's been cleaned rather harshly. Had someone else mentioned the possibility with these, I would have immediately agreed.

In my opinion, the '89 would Bean at VF20 and the '93 at F15. I have them at those grades, but I'd be OK with one grade higher for each. I don't expect the major lines in the wings to be disappearing at VF30 or above, nor that little hair detail even at 25.

I am happy for your grades but they would appear somewhat overgraded

I will agree that the 1893 CC may be overgraded, but with a bean the coin will sell where it is graded.

On the CCF grades for the 89CC most grades were in the 35 range and when I bid on the coin that is the grade that I had the coin at.

I hit correctly on the 89 and correctly called the cac on the 93 but missed the grade on the 93 by 20 pts !!

I'm not a Morgan expert but 20 pts sight seen is a LARGE gap.
