Wow, a naked liberty and "By God No Trust." Reverse is standard Trade dollar as far as I can see.

Naked and sitting on a chamber pot, no less.

From the price they are asking they obviously think they have something rare, but I doubt they will find another clueless person to actually think it is an actual Trade dollar.

I've seen these before. This one in fact looks real and just engraved.Like hobo nickels, but the Trade dollar. I think they are called the "potty dollar" actually.

The "hobo nickel" analogy is probably the correct interpretation (certainly for that worn pocket piece). Remember, these were ultimtely demonetized, and even when they were being used in commerce, were valued at less than face. Before modern day collectors got into the act, they were perfect candidates for this sort of treatment.

This is where too little knowledge can be costly. Automatically assuming something is fake and walking away from it, you could leave a small fortune on the table. Depending on the details they can sell from $150-$1000+.

Again, these are not fake folks and should not be reported as such. Here are five more currently on ebay, including three that are certified:

The one found by the OP is actually a pretty good example compared to the others.

Yes...there are authentic ones available but the first one on the list referenced says "BY GOD NO TRUST"

Debrajc, the engravers of these coins often changed the motto to suit themselves. Here is one where "IN GOD WE TRUST" was changed to "NO FREE TRADE."

Thanks Captain...yes, I have seen that particular variation (No Free Trade) just never "In God No Trust" But if they are hobo varieties I guess anything is possible! I appreciate the education!

These evidently aren't that uncommon. Here's a gallery of images of such (most appear to have been carried as pocket pieces):
