Ya guys, in hand it's such a difference from a normal one. Makes you wonder why it was never pulled.

I have my doubts. It looks like the anvil die was also not in place. Is the reeding normal?

Pocket finds are just terrific. Hardly any "out of pocket" expense!

What is the value of a MAD coin in this condition? I have seen a few and just tossed them back!

Quote: What is the value of a MAD coin in this condition? I have seen a few and just tossed them back! There really isn't much of a premium until the devices start to go over the rim.

Reeding is fine and size is normal guys. It's just a severe mad with no design cut. Could be a very small premium on it as an example piece but not much if any. Just thought you'd like to see a strange pocket piece lol
