This is a perfect example of a textbook VG-10 in my opinion.

Good catch Cartwheel on that spot of PVC on the obverse rim. A soak in acetone should clean up the PVC residue and arrest the corrosion. I expect any corrosion damage already present on the coin would be negligible.

I agree, likely no damage, but I doubt PCGS/NGC would slab it clean with an active issue like that.

Think that bit of green will come off easily, Obverse F-12 reverse VG-10. I bet if sent out, it will holder F-12. Great price for and un-cleaned example.
