Does the photo cert show the same haze/toning the obverse now shows?

Yup, ebay. Photo cert I will look at closer when I get home. It was cheap (common date/mm.)

Reverse looks nice, but OBV looks a little scuffy, in particular the one hit right on the cheek which depending on the day may limit the coin to 63. Nice 64 otherwise IMO.

Forgot to post this one, ANACS MS 62/63  I think 63-64 is appropriate, maybe 63+.

I don't think ANACS was using the 64 grade in the 1980's so my thought was 63. And yes, it looks accurately graded.

MS63 looks right. Very nice early TPG.

Technically 64 but I'm going to knock it down to 63 due to the unattractive obverse. I know folks love original surfaces but in this case an acid dip might improve the coin.
