Nice one......
We are always picking away at the same things! I have a 64 (without the indent though!!) so I watched this one. I am eagerly awaiting another cent-on-dime from another member of this forum (one you already have SPP...... courtesy of the same seller I think).

Very cool! How does an indent strike occur?

A coin gets caught in the striking chamber, and before the coin gets struck again, a blank is pushed under it, and the strike effects the coin besides where the blockage occurred.

On a silver planchet, $352.50 is a 'steal' !

Very cool silver cent error coin SPP, nice snag. Looking at the PCGS picture, the strike is weak due to a lack of metal to fill the devices because of the size of the dime planchet, how does a grader grade this noting the lack of a full strike? Is it based on relative lack of marks in fields and on the coin features which indicates a lack of wear, thus a mint state grade.

Like any other weakly struck coin...
