. We called in on Direct Liquidations warehouse in Burnaby,Vancouver last June - sadly the star of the show Jeff Schwarz was not home. Quite a disappointing warehouse after seeing the show, however I did get a nice photo of myself with a few of his life size liquidated camels We always try to track down these 'stars' if we are anywhere near.......once we got lucky, and they even made us a cup of tea and kept us chatting for an hour or more.

I have attended such auctions several times over the years. More often than not the owner of the storage yard has gone through the lockers and they are filled ith low value items. I read in a report on Hester's law suit against the production company that things are added to the lockers sometimes to make better TV.

Well it won't be my 2 1/2 dollar gold piece. but maybe someone else's coins. I think I read somewhere that all those newspapers with Elvis's death on the front page was staged. I think they were found in the storage unit Dave Hester won.

This is super cool! Jared and Brandy are awesome! I would love to visit their shop. My wife and I got married in Vegas and we went to the Pawn Stars Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. The old man was there taking pictures with people. That was pretty cool!

Much better than this "celebrity" bidding on your coins... (This book was signed and donated to my coin club as a "door prize" - the winner choose to select a Tim Horton's Timbit from the coffee room, rather than accept the book prize)
