eaglefoot Pillar of the Community United States 6326 Posts	Posted 03/15/2016 01:17 am So...it's been a few years since I've been on the site, and I recognize a few people here, but lots of new faces, which is good ! So, here's why I was gone. My construction business which I ran with my father for 26 years, had to close due to the economy. Then my father died. One year later my mother died. Last June I had a kidney removed because of a diagnosis of Renal cancer. During these last 3 years or so, I've had to SELL my higher value coins, rather than COLLECT. So the joy and passion was stolen from me. Basically a broken heart in coin collecting. Now, I'm pulling out some of my stuff and getting interested again, although I don't have the extra funds to collect coins....I still love them, so I'm back. Report this Post to the Staff

If you have an interest in coins again, then things are already looking brighter. If it's been a while since you've looked at your coins I'm sure it will be an adventure for you.
