That is certainly something that I did not immediately consider.

I do not think they are too big, just really big, especially compared to the equivalent Dansco albm. Then again, a Dansco album is really big compared to the equivalent folder.

This is true, but I suspect a Dansco only has 9 ASEs per page as well.

I was able to fill a few more holes last night with some nice bullion ASEs I've picked up over the past few years. Will post another pic or two later.

You are correct...

This is one way I could tell how big your album is, actually basing on on the nine-per-page in my Eisenhower Dansco.

Realized when posting my pic in the other CAPS thread that I never did go back and add any more photos of my two to this thread as promised, so I'm adding them here 7 months later. My observations and commentary may help someone decide whether or not to jump into CAPS.

The two CAPS albums (2228 & 2229) in my safe along with some Dansco and Whitman Classic albums for size reference:

The completed 1st page of the 2229. This is the first page that I have fully populated in either album. I must say, I do like the look.

Better late than never.

Those Dansco Currency albums still freak me out though.

I know... it just doesn't sit well. I've gotten used to it, though.

At least they are just currency albums and nothing important like coins.

Just kidding.

Adding my recent photos here.

Back of page 1 of the CAPS 2229 album:

Updated page 2 of the CAPS 2229 album, including all the 2016 issues and 2 of the (at least 4) 2017 issues.

No spot for the 2017 s proof, but very handsome set.

I mentioned that in the other thread where I asked if CK was going to make room for the 2017-S or add it to the end.

Regardless of the curve ball from the mint, album is looking good.

I expect CAPS to issue a new page sometime in the next 3 years that adds some text for the 30th Anniversary issues, as well as add a slot for the 2017 S Proof. I don't (yet) have a 2017 S Proof (missed the boat on the Congrats set) so have to decide how I'm going to play that one.
