I am really thinking of getting a Mega Red again this year. But maybe a large print red too.  |

Hmmm don't know if I have the room for another Mega Red! I guess it depends on what they focus on this year.

I do not get a Red Book every year, so I certainly do not see a need to acquire a new Mega Red every year. I like to let the changes (other than the prices) accumulate over a few years. That being said, I do wonder what and how much will be different with the deluxe edition this year. |

I get one hard cover copy for my collection of them. Two ringed versions for use and several for Christmas gifts. Use to be over 15 for Gifts but lately many of those people have moved or passed away so down to about 6. One of those mega books for me is enough.

And then too, some for females and some for males. Now if you start giving them a copy of the Red Book each year, saves you time and money and you can buy them now for then. Regardless if they collect coins or not, nothing to loose by giving someone something a bit educational as well as a gift. |

Anyone pull the trigger on the 2017 Mega Red? There's a new section that focuses on small cents that looks like it could be pretty interesting and valuable.

Preorder pricing ends on May 15th @ Wizard.... not sure my shelf has the room for another Mega Red but that small cent section is tempting.

My latest coin book is the blue book from 2014 (my only other price guide is the 2013 Red Book). It would be awesome to update with a deluxe Red Book! That thing is huge! :D |

I got my 2017 read book last month... Its decent, and there are about 10 new pages.
