Same seller - hollyexchange2015 Too late for this US $20 gold coin that did sell, as the buyer has already left feedback. I notice the barcode of the ebay sale does not match that of the NGC photo, aside from the flat, washed out appearance. It would be real good if the buyer might notice he or she got scammed and file a police report on the seller. ebay: 142058518197NGC https://www.NGCcoin.com/certlookup/3378104-010/

Different holder this time but same counterfeit coin. Seller was nice enough to supply photo of legit coin to compare with.

Yet another fake gold maple on ebay. Someone must be making or importing these from Florida because they keep showing up there. ebay item: 262704078175First picture is the real coin from the NGC website. The second coin is the ebay fake. Just compare where the bar codes line up to the certification numbers on each coin. Someone needs to help me here and report this to the RCM, because I have seen about a dozen of these fakes for sale on ebay over the past year.

All it takes is one nasty letter from the RCM's crack legal team to ebay and most of these fakes will lose the largest marketplace, yet they don't seem to care.

I contacted ebay, but I don't have Bobby's powers. Looks like someone is going to get suckered out of 1300,00$ USD

Can you imagine, if you wanted to go back and collect ANY bullion coin, and start from beginning of when it was issued, the amount of frauds out there, how hard it has to be.
OF course, with education and a good eye and help from fellow collectors on here, it can be done but dang, what a minefield you step into.
I mean this is crazy tho, its not enough that Pandas are faked. Even Maple Leafs... really?

Nice work guys on 2009 NGC Graded Canada 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf MS-69 Seller sticks-and-stones-2014 item 262704078175http://www.ebay.com/sch/sticks-and-...-2014/m.html I called this out on 11/06 not knowing CCF members JGG and nss-52 did the same on 11/05 nss-52 photos are much more detailed and focused than mine. So, with His permission, I'm adding nss-52 photos to my topic. Sold for $1,350, hope buyer gets recourse.

Adds weight to the old saying "if it seems to good to be true...." If anyone's not aware, something to file for the future, CCF has a separate Canadian fake reporting section. Bobby monitors it and is extremely prompt and thorough at removal through ebay. http://goccf.com/f/161

https://online-barcode-reader.inliteresearch.com/BTW useful tool if you are ever unsure of a slab, you can check the bar code. In this instance you will clearly see that one of the bar codes does not equal the number on the slab. May be obvious to you, but I was happy to find this.
