Nice sets. Almost all of mine have been cracked for Dansco albums, so I have nothing to show.

At one time or another I have owned every proof set from 1968 to 2016, but as soon as I get one I break it up and put the coins into my albums. However, this is the closest I have to a proof set run. My 1979 type 1 My 1979 type 2 My 1981 type 1 My 1981 type 2 Those two missing KHD's are proving a little difficult to find. Maybe the next coin show will have something.

You were missing part of the IMG tag. I fixed it before I realized you had already posted again.

Quote: I can't wait for GR58 to display his vast collection here! I hate to disappoint ... I never thought about taking pictures of a year run for proof sets. And recently I have boxed up a lot of coins and put into storage. Including a lot of proof sets ... I might have to start buying more sets .... Let me see if I can find some pictures that will sort of fit into this thread Prestige sets .. I think I am just missing the 1996. I have the early ones but not in this picture 50's and 60's proof sets in envelopes, with proof Franklins Most of my proofs I buy on a whim .. to fill albums. Then just put them into boxes, until I do another set. Might be a good project for the future, try and put a set together. But then I might just want to break them open ... ThreeLui looks very nice

Thanks all ... I think I have just a humble collection, compared to some of the high end coins some have. This thread has got me thinking, I lost a lot of pictures. I think it was when I lost a laptop a while back. I know I had more pictures of proof sets and proof coins. But it has made me look at some of my albums. I see that on my third P/D/S/S set of State Quarters, I am still missing a set of 2007 silver proof quarters. Good chance I have a set of those packed away. I did find a couple dansco that have proofs Like this one, Lincoln proof 1953 through 2009 Jefferson nickels1953 through 2010 Somewhere have the same for Dimes quarters and half dollars. I really need to get more organized

These were all scanned at 7200 DPI on an HP-4890, saved as BMPs, shrunk to 360 pixels square, grouped together and saved as JPGs at just under the 300KB limit. I have mostly switched to taking photos now, both because I now have a good macro setup and because 7200 DPI scans of the 5oz ATBs saved as BMPs would each be about 1.4GB and that is a lot of data to send over a USB2 link. Scans are good but you pretty much get what you get. There is a lot more freedom with photos, especially in lighting and bringing up very small details. at 7200 DPI each pixel is about 3.5um and I can get down to less than 1um per pixel with my camera setup.
