In the first pics I thought I saw rub on the tip of the crown, top of hair and ear curl. However, the coin looks sharper in the newer pic. I go to 58. Admittedly no expert here. I only have these coins in lower to mid grades, so I am just guessing.

Tough with those photos since the detail elements that determine rub, or not, are not sharp enough for me to really give an honest opinion.
For what I can see, I'd say it just missed MS, so AU-58.

I plan on retaking a couple of pictures tonight.
My EAC grade was 60 sharpness net 55 due to the small nicks and the lone carbon spot. This is an MDS coin with a slightly misaligned obverse die strike (weaker to the northwest, stronger to the southeast) and I did also notice a slight bit of cabinet rub which factored into my net grade.

Okay, I think these pictures came out better. Switched to 55mm and rigged a mount to try to get a stable capture. Reverse rotation has once again been digitally "corrected" by means of a 137 degree CCW canvas rotate in Photoshop, for the purposes of the first reverse photo here. Note that the thick (and somewhat scratched) NGC slab distorts the optical clarity a bit by way of a lensing effect, meaning that perfect focus is an elusive goal even when manually set. A sharper focus would require cracking the coin out or getting it reholdered. If this still isn't acceptable, I give up. I'm a collector, not a photographer.

Much better photos indicate full MS and I'd even up my assessment to a 63. Only problem I'm having is with the color. It looks very light monotone and I can't spot any true red, even in the recesses. Doesn't look cleaned and color doesn't show any hint of dipping.
What does the color look like in hand?

A light brown with only the faintest traces of red in front of the neck line and the very back of the hair. By EAC standards it couldn't go past a 60 for that reason, but NGC doesn't use EAC standards. Photos are actually pretty true to color.

I will go 63. NGC plastic sucks to take pics through.

As the pics get better, my grade goes higher. I started at 53, then 58. Now I have to go higher as the surfaces look much better. And I don't see what I thought was wear on the obverse. Regardless, it is a nice coin. I'd go 63, too. I do see what might be a slight rub on the reverse ribbon. If that's just the pic, then 63.
So, what was it graded?

Forgot this one. NGC said MS64 BN - my EAC grade (by which I based my offer) was 60 net 55. I think resubmitted it would probably earn a 63BN if graded today by NGC or PCGS. The slab would benefit greatly from polishing and the white is turning a bit yellowish in some parts.
