Can you show photos of the complete obverse and reverse?

Those pits and the "extended" F of FIVE on the reverse has my paranoia alarm ringing.

Maybe a 36. The first 3 looks more like this one. Then the metal would have moved to cover the upper leg of the 6?

Yes, looks like a 35 with a well placed hit. Those two stabs on the reverse had me thinking cast until you posted the full photos showing those two holes also being well placed for metal displacement.

It is obviously a 1939.
