That example has made a couple of ebay appearances ... seller trying to market it as a PO01 coin. It is not certifiable as such and worth only the value of the 90% silver it contains. Interesting curiosity if you are into such things ... but it is not worth anything to a lowball specialist. David

Since the date is on the "back", I tried a special edit technique, but could bring out zero detail -- no ship, no lettering, no date.

It is worth melt. Assuming by the the other comments it is being sold for more then melt. If I could get it for melt I would counter stamp a date on the reverse and add it to my already full pocket. I chose to preserve this 1892 as is.
