really solid strike. I was debating proof/business strike due to strike. I'm going with MS65

I'll guess MS65, with a possibility of being one of the few 66s.

No less than MS-64. Shot at 65. Nice one!

I'm at 64 tops here if that. Lower obverse neck and field marks hold it back.

Looks about the same as my MS64 so I'd say MS64.

Thank you for your responses!

First my photos always make marks on coins look bigger than they are. This coin has full blazing white luster with no toning. Whenever marks there are can't be seen with the naked eye and only show with a 10X glass. It is essentially looks as it did the day it fell from the dies in 1863.

PCGS graded this piece MS-64. I was very surprised that they didn't at least give a "+" or even an MS-65. The coin is quite outstanding.

I paid a premium price for this coin in the MS-64 grade. This is not the kind of piece you buy for Gray Sheet "bid" unless you get very lucky.

Finally got one. Super color, and I know how tiny those neck-area marks are in reality, but I'm not altogether surprised at the grade. Candidate for resubmission?
