Please don't clean that coin as the tone is lovely. Remove the coin from the holder it's in as it looks too soft and may contain PVC which can harm coins.
Better photos out of the plastic will be necessary for a better grade opinion.

The coin in these photos is actually outside of the plastic slip sitting on top it.

If the photos are truly accurate, MS65 to MS66, with a weak obverse strike and only a couple of scattered marks on the reverse. The toning is delicious and this coin needs to be left 100% original and not handled, cleaned, wiped, rubbed, or otherwise have its surfaces disturbed in any way.

 It looks weakly struck based on the definition of the hair, but the lock above the ear looks too white and I'm going to opine that it is rub. Same with several feather tips in the right wing. I am at AU58, but if those spots weren't rub, I would be at MS64. Looks like luster is too muted for 65-66. In any event, it is a beautiful coin. MS65 here. Bit concerned on the symmetrical field toning, but almost absent on the face profile. Its a beauty David44. AG

Leaning more toward 64 now. I think the two marks under the right wing also keep it from 65. Thanks for the beautiful pictures.
If it were my coin, I would grade it at 64 but ask for 66 money due to the beautiful toning. It is a stunner.

I would have it graded, because of that toning! Toned coins go for crazy money on ebay. I will say MS 65. |
