I am glad I'm not the only one that would pay $22. I would have jumped right on it,especially with free shipping :-)

I paid two dollars for the first silver dollar I ever bought. My dad gave me a hard time for buying it. Of course that was 1968.

But back then a gallon of gas was 22 to 25 cents, so 22 dollars now days is about the same as my 2 dollars in 1968.

Spot price of silver is about $17.50 today so I would buy it for $22. You are not getting an ounce of silver but you are getting a Morgan. If you live another 40 years it will probably triple in value.

If your're buying it for your personal collection, then yes. However, if your buying it to make a quick flip and make a few bucks, then no.

I wouldn't buy it....then again, I loathe Morgans.

Agreeing with some previous posts. If buying for your collection because you happen to be in love with this particular coin, then do as you wish. There is nothing rare or special about this coin, it is the definition of a commoditized Morgan, so you better really love it. If buying as a quick flip, the time and effort and postage and maybe commission to sell it would likely be more than the "profit". For long term financial investment, it's a risk when compared to many other places to put cash into. But at least you have most of an ounce silver in your hand regardless of paper value at that point. I would not tie up my hard earned cash myself. If I wanted to make a buck for coins, I would take my $22 to a Saturday garage sale and find 4-5 cheap whatever items I could get 2-4x my money via Craigslist or ebay.

Maybe it's the photo, but looks harshly cleaned to me so I'd pass.

You can't go too wrong at $22 - hard to find any decent Morgan at that price let alone one in nearly BU condition (albeit with some issues).
