Well done No. 1 Dad! If that's not a conversation piece, I don't know what is.

Really an appealing display! So much more interesting than trying to remember what's hidden away in boxes.
I always enjoy everyone's display ideas and thanks very much for sharing yours.

Great Looking display case!! Beautiful collection as well.
On the second shelf there is a coin shaped like a star on the right near the back and dead center there is a coin shaped like a pyramid. What are these 2?

Thanks everyone for the comments . I had been wanting to do something with my coins for awhile and there is no appeal to getting a coin and looking at it yourself then putting it away never to be seen again until some day you decide to take a look at it .When I seen this case I went ahead and ordered it . I will be adding more to it ( I have some military and historic type theme coins I want to display ) I plan to change the coins maybe every 3 months and just cycle through what I have .
As for the being secure well I don't think anything these days can be considered secure so I have arranged to insure my collection . Really if anyone wanted to they would just have to pick up the case and walk away , ( it does have a locking door ) .In the end I just enjoy that I can show some of what I have as an interest and hobby and the case itself looks good and makes a nice conversation piece .
MontCollector : the triangle ( green ) coin is a Canadian milk token and the star shaped coin is a New Zealand Christmas angel coin . I will be adding some of my older coins to the display , for now I wanted to show some of those that display well and have that eye candy sparkle and I also hope to make more room by removing the coins from the clam shell cases .
I hope you all enjoying having a look at a few of the coins I have and I hope we get to see more of your collections . Have a good day all and thanks again .

Very impressive and nice collection and display.
Thank you for sharing pictures of stuff that we still keep hidden in the boxes, cases...
Would suggest to remove the family pictures from here...you do not know, who may hunt for such info and track you.

I agree with other posters ... dry nice display.
I am hoping the next house I get will have room for a home office.
A display like this one would be something I would want, in a home office.

That is exactly what I've been looking out for as a display like that. Quote: I plan to change the coins maybe every 3 months and just cycle through what I have . That'll work for a year or so. With my smaller (framed window box display) I promised to only display the coins I received in the past 4 to 8 weeks. Currently it is displaying coins I received in 2015. So, good luck with that. javascript:insertsmilie(' ')

I applaud your decision to show case your collection - I have just a handful of coins/medals on display in my home. I've long lamented the fact that almost all of my collection is stored away in a bank vault.
Your display is very nice indeed! I hope you get many ooh's and aah's from visitors to your home!
