Is there any legible embossing where the serial numbers or seal should have been?

On the left serial number you can tell where the stamp had hit the bill but didn't actually print the other numbers but for the green seal (rigjt) there is no trace..(it is extremely extremely faint. (Other digits on left) impossible to read but something had been there..

I could see the die being uneven and stamping one side of the bill but doesn't explain how a single zero is placed on the opposing side.

Guys so I have been on the phone all day trying to figure out how you submit a note to be graded? When going to the website it refers me to local Dealers.. I call them I it's "we don't deal it paper money, it's barely worth it face value."

So what special number/ license do you guys have? I am having no luck and irritated that "dealers" say it's worthless..

And am I wasting my time with this note? or what should my next step be?

Ps I can't send emails or I would of already asked

Having your note authenticated and graded at PMG or PCGS requires an annual membership, or membership at the ANA.

Your alternatives, and membership fees can be avoided by sending the note to http://www.cganotes.com/ or http://www.superior-grading.com/.but keep in mind that these are second tier TPG's.

Sounds like a membership is the only option, the money spent having a dealer to send it would almost cover a year of pmg. I would assume.. Thanks a lot for the advice!

It's official I'm an associate of PMG!
When shipping Notes to them, do you take any extra precautions? (extra photos, Insurance?)

I'll kept you guys posted.. I did find a similar bill, denomination 5 with only a vibrant 0. The other digits had failed but PMG could still make out the rest of serial number mine on the other hand should be much more challenging.

A local dealer stated the 5 had sold for 250, then aked "would you take 225?" No thanks!

I had taken the liberty of rotating and cropping your note for further examination before commenting, and see both positive and negative issues here..

The note looks to be higher grade, and at the touch should feel a crispness in the paper (I know it's 75% Cotton - 25% Linen), and not soft of limp..

On the positive side, I believe it is a genuine Insufficient Inking error and don't think it was altered..

The negatives out way the positive thanks to all the Fake Inking errors listed on ebay everyday, and the lack of knowledge on genuine Errors submitted to PMG..

In all fairness, I started using PMG in 2006 and never had a problem until early 2016, when they refused to Holder my genuine BEP Cutting Error, and returned it as Questionable..

I did have to provide proof to the PMG Operations Manager before he agreed to Holder it a few months later..

After the last 2 Pakistan Errors I submitted last year, while they both Certified, they omitted the Serial Numbers on the Holder when they were included on the forms, the most important part of the Errors.. (I now Holder/Seal my own Notes)

I would be surprised if PMG Certifies your note on the first try, especially with all the Fake Errors on the Bay..

Good luck..

It's definitely a legitimate error note. YAY!
So would you recommend I try emailing a photo and make sure there will be no snags first or should I just let it go and see what happens?

They're going to say it has to be submitted first, and can't guarantee it will be graded without confirming it's a genuine error..

I was just posting my recent problems with them..

I hate to be Debbie Downer but I have seen these errors on ebay from a few sellers that have many of them, crafted all slightly differently, but all missing or having faded third green overprint, seal and serial numbers. Recently there have been far less of these, I report them when I see them. There are different chemicals that affect different inks and depending on their concentrations and application will do different alterations or damage. I have seen the face, black ink print, removed to make the very in demand third, black and green, overprint only left behind and without affecting the note's back print. Often there is a ghosting of that black face print remaining that the true errors will not have. There are chemicals that will change the color of or completely remove the green back print and without affecting the face. And there are chemicals that will fade and or remove the green overprint without affecting any other inks. Be very careful with errors on the internet.
