worldnumis,

according to my Hard Times Tokens book, that is HT-240.

On HT-239, the obverse scrolling ends under the 2nd 'U' in UNUM.
On HT-240, the obverse scrolling ends under the N in UNUM.

Here's an HT-A-241, being a J.H. CONNOR counterstamp on an 1828 Bust Half. John H. Connor was a silversmith in NY City, 1833-38, working alone during those years. This counterstamp matches the hallmark that Connor used on his silver products. Interestingly, a half dollar like this contains sufficient silver to create a delicate teaspoon.

To date, I've seenbut one other example of this Hard Times issue, that being a counterstamped 1829 Bust Half.

HT268 Feuchtwanger Cent. I believe it's a variety 2A and has a rotated reverse
