That's pretty dramatic. I haven't come across one yet. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Spruette, and your welcome. They made quite a few different ones in 2013. Yes, this is the most dramatic of them all for this year. There's been enough time gone by now, you should start to be seeing some of these Philly mints.

Funny, John1. We do appreciate Trail Dies don't we. This one's strong Uruman, you couldn't miss it with the naked eye. I'm glad you all like it. Thanks

Coinmmasters, have a box to go thru. These trail dies are on 2013P's I take it as a given. Any more commoner ones in other dates to look for? I have my normal list of course, but haven't concentrated on these or what PBP goes after, that's to tuff on these old eyes, even with a scope and lack of ...Patience! If I go over four hours every thing becomes reversed in my vision from eye strain, tough seeing dates and MM incuse!

2013 is the best year, I probably have 12 or more different trail dies for this year. The Major trail dies are easiest to spot, they're pretty strong. I have also found a Major for 2012. I've never seen one for a D mint. You can find them on all the modern nickels, the single squeeze produced them more than ever before. Move the coin a little as you check them to catch light at an angle. Sideways (Jefferson facing down) is the best view to catch the less strong ones, the trails run predominately north and south. Most trails are under the building. Second most on top of the building either east or west. A few can be found over EPU and under UNITED and USofA. A very very few can be found on the obverse over the lettering or under the date.
