Just wanted to make sure because when I spoke to PCGS the grader noted that they do not grade the type of error. Made me feel like it is, but they do not label it. The dealers confirmed that. Thanks for clarification.

Liberty coin and collectibles was the other, there was collector who walked in and looked at it and said yes that is a mint error. I guess they are all wrong lol. But that is why I am here, so thank you guys.

It is most definitely post-mint damage and not an error. Here is one I have with similar damage. Note the lack of signs that the last "1" was damaged to move it to its current position: I believe mine to be rolling-machine damage and yours may be as well. In the future, please ask about coins here first before spending money on grading! We are all here to help and to the Family!

It's worth 3 cents.
Somewhere out there (really out there) might be a collector looking for coins with the least reason to slab. This one would be hard to beat in that category.
Hmmm...a new collecting field?

Hmmm...a new collecting field? Haven't you seen low ball sets? Entire collections where the objective is to get the lowest of the low certified. It's very competitive for some people.

I'm fully aware of low ball collecting. I'm not talking about the most circulated, I'm talking about the least valuable coin sent in to a TPG.

Dw, the experts have spoken, you can take it to the bank!it is quite evident that the jeweler has little or no knowledge of Error varieties, but you came to the right place for the right answer, stick around you will learn progressively. By the way

I was curious and looked at the population report for it. There are 3 others certified in the same grade and 4 more graded lower. Lol

Don't give up. Eventually you will bump up into a good coin with a real error.
Errers and Varietys.

That sure looks like the Coin Wrapping Machine fingers hit the 0 and moved it a touch. I have a few of those examples. I think spruett has posted a few examples in the past.

Probably vending machine damage. When this happens the damage is close to parallel to the rim.
