My best guess would be from die-polishing. It could also be struck-through grease but, that area on the reverse is prime real estate for over-polishing. In Memory of Crazyb0 12-26-1951 to 7-27-2020

@htm, first welcome to CCF. Second, regardless of whether your coin is the result of being Struck Through Grease or an over-polished die, the value is still one cent. Interesting to keep if you want, but definitely spendable. "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

Struck Through Grease is most likely, but it could also be over polished. Not severe enough to bring extra value. Worth 1 cent. But, don't give up. Keep searching and eventually, you will have something good come up. :)
