I didn't know about the older Libertad since I only had Canadian Maples & ASEs before I got back to coins. I saw one of these older, fatter Libertads at Long Beach coin show and thought it was fantastic looking. Also, I haven't heard too many counterfeit Libertads... So, I was looking for some for few months now..
I also like Mexico 8 Reales, but there are too many fakes, and I can't tell the difference too much. But I"m learning..
