On the DDO: the link shows an LDS,is the op coin in LDS? Here is why I ask,the E in WE is way different in the link. Also in the link the left arm looks wide on the Y in Liberty and not on the op coin.
On the RPM: Are you sure it is 001? It kinda looks like an sss and 001 is a ss.Forgot to say that is some nice ghosting going on there too.

Excellent finds !
The DDO is earlier than mine which matches the VV example. I'm on the lookout for one befoe the filled letter chips but many thanks for pics of his stage !
The rpm is one of my favorites. I got lucky and picked a very early die state before the chip in the top of the mimtmark.
Now all you need is the DDR to round out the varieties for this date and mint !

John1 , the E of WE in the late die state pics on VV has exagerated hooks because of Die Deterioration. The best pickup point for this die is the tail of the 9 in the date, though a few of the examples I have seen have had this PUP obscured by Machine Doubling .
The rpm is definitely 001. Mintmark position and markers, obverse and reverse, match.

Thanks for all the kind comments! And Stoneman you really know these things well, and yes, I had my fingers crossed when I flipped 'em all over to look for the DDR as finding the whole set in one roll would have been one for the ages. But I will gladly settle for 2 out of 3 and early die stages at that. I'm not sure anyone has the DDO without the die chips, and hope you find one as they surely exist, to go with your chip-free S on the RPM. That would be a superb pair.

On the DDO, the die chip on the '4' was enough to convince me it was the same die. Also the two die chips on TRUST and the sweeping left side of LIBERTY:

On the RPM, the location is correct. The dies cracks on the reverse also the same.

I don't mind at all! The more examples the better, and that is one super nice VEDS. Sweet.

Just a random ebay buy. I am keying in on the last set of pre-1940 DDO-001 varieties that I need and just picked up a roll of 1924-S that turned out quite nicely.

Stoneman, I am actually going for the whole set of Lincoln DDO-001. I think I have 75 of them so far. Long ways to go but I enjoy looking for the stuff I don't have yet. Focusing on the early years right now as I just have 9 of them left to find.
