I would say no, I have tried to remove finger prints off coins before but no luck! yours seem minor if they are yours and fairly recent they MIGHT come off by wiping it with a damp cotton cloth otherwise may be another member might have a suggestion as I am not sure how Pure Acetone will react with cladding of manganese brass, I have not tried it on golden dollars.

I do appreciate it Chase, I do have some other coins I can do some testing on. I think it would be worth the effort. If I can go from 55 to 58 is a major plus to me!

I feel that this particular error has a huge potential to increase in market demand over the years.

In the meantime, just keep it quietly tucked away, and allow it to mature like a good wine.

I've sold coins before, but rarely do I wish them back. This is probably the highest price time for a an error. Some tend to drop off with time as they are forgotten by the newest greatest thing. The hype now, may reduce as time goes on.

Nice find, especially in the wild. I have one that represents my Sacagawea dollar in my 7070.
